Devin is committed to nurturing every student that comes through her doors. She follows Dr. Suzuki’s notion that truly, everyone can learn, that “any child has the possibility to be musically inclined,” as long as we grow a love of learning and creativity at home as well as in the studio.

Bi-Weekly Suzuki Group Classes
Also located in Devin's Home, Suzuki Violin Group Classes take place Saturdays and Thursdays, and will be scheduled in two terms: Fall and Winter/Spring. No group classes are held in summer months.
Recitals
As a crucial part of the lessons process, students will celebrate their work with two solo performances per year (December and May). Other performance opportunities made available to students throughout the year.
Suzuki students
Devin accepts beginning violin and viola students as young as 2.5. We will move through all of the Suzuki books to prepare for pre-college level playing.
The Suzuki Method has ten books, with books 1-3 being beginning level, 4-5 are intermediate, 6-8 are advanced intermediate, and books 9 and 10 are advanced student level playing. Beginning in the intermediate stage we will study pieces that complement traditional violin repertoire outside of the Suzuki books.
Pre-college
After students complete their study of the Suzuki books, Advanced students prepare for college level playing through concerti, sonatas, show-pieces, Bach and Etudes.
